These terms govern the use of DupeGuessr, a free browser game available at dupeguessr.com. By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

DupeGuessr publishes one challenge per day consisting of three rounds. Each round shows two images: a licensed photograph and an AI recreation derived from it. Players submit one answer per round and receive a score. Free play offers additional rounds sampled from past challenges. The service is provided without registration.

Scores are kept per anonymous session and shown in aggregated, non-personal statistics. There is no entitlement to a specific score, ranking or placement on any list.

You may use the service for its intended purpose: playing the game as a human visitor. You may not use automated tools to play, flood, scrape or probe the service; attempt to circumvent rate limits or the one-attempt-per-day rule; access the service in a way that degrades it for others; or reverse-engineer the grading of rounds in order to manipulate statistics. The operator may throttle or block traffic that violates these rules.

The DupeGuessr website, its design and its texts are the property of the operator. Source photographs are taken from Wikimedia Commons and remain under their respective free licenses; the photographer and license are credited with each challenge. AI recreations shown on this site were generated for this service. Game data and scores may be displayed in aggregated form.

The service is provided in its current form. The operator may change, pause or discontinue parts of it at any time, and challenges may fail to generate. There is no claim to uninterrupted availability. These terms may be updated; the version published on this page applies.

The service is provided free of charge and without additional warranties. The operator is not liable for damages arising from the use of the service, except where liability cannot be excluded by law, such as in cases of intent or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory statutory rights.
